The Temple Bar is a general practice Inn of Court. Members have different competences or preferences in a wide range of practice areas. These appear on their individual profiles. They have varying levels of experience. The most senior member of The Temple Bar in terms of date of qualification, qualified in 1983. The most junior member qualified in 2010.
Our members provide a full range of advisory and advocacy services in all areas of practice of the law. They routinely appear in all the courts of Zimbabwe, before domestic and international tribunals as well as courts in other jurisdictions.
Most of them are available for appointment as arbitrators and are on the lists of arbitrators and conciliators maintained by the Commercial Arbitration Centre in Harare, as well as the Law Society of Zimbabwe. They all serve on the Arbitral Tribunal run by the Zimbabwe Inns of Court.
